A content provider that retrieves content from a data source.
def Library.UI.ContentFromDataSource.ADataSourceContentProvider.__init__ | ( | Self, | |
params | |||
) |
Constructor.
The constructor expects the following parameters will be provided in params:
DataSource
– The data source from which content will be retrieved. This should be an instance of ADataSource or its descendants.category
– The name of the data source category (or table) from which to draw content.In addition to the above, params
may also include any parameters that are accepted by ADataSource.fetch(); these will be passed to ADataSource.fetch() when content is requested from the content provider.
def Library.UI.ContentFromDataSource.ADataSourceContentProvider.content | ( | Self | ) |
Retrieve the content from the content provider.
This method should be implemented by descendant classes. It should return an iterable object that contains content which will be passed to a view for display. If there is no content to display, an empty iterable object should be returned.
This method generates the fetchContent
event.
def Library.UI.ContentFromDataSource.ADataSourceContentProvider.init | ( | Self | ) |
Initializer.
